About your role

As the Sonographer - Advanced Team Leader, you will provide advanced clinical services, professional governance, and operational leadership for the ultrasound service at Redland Hospital.

In this role you will:

• Deliver advanced ultrasound clinical services and lead complex case management
• Provide mentorship, supervision, and professional development to sonographers
• Manage workforce planning, rostering, recruitment, and performance processes
• Lead service planning, quality improvement, and research initiatives
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and specialist modalities to optimise service delivery

About you

We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader with a passion for advancing ultrasound services, mentoring others, and delivering safe, patient-centred care.

You will have:

• Relevant postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound or equivelant and ASAR accreditation
• Minimum five (5) years' post-graduation clinical ultrasound experience
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage resources, and oversee rostering/workload allocation
• Advanced clinical expertise and ability to handle complex cases independently
• High-level communication, negotiation, and change management skills
• Demonstrated experience in service development, research, and quality improvement
