We are seeking a Team leader with Mazak and Mazatrol programming skills for our client, to lead a skilled team in a modern precision manufacturing workshop producing complex components for Aerospace, Defence and Medical sectors. This is hands-on floor leadership role overseeing CNC operations in a high-variety, short-run jobbing environment.

Ideally, you will have:

Mazak - Integrex experience (3-5 axis)

Sound Mazatrol programming capability

Experience leading of technical teams

Trade-qualified or equivalent workshop depth

Hands-on approach - leads from the floor, not the office

You will have the opportunity to lead a tight knit workshop operations in a stable, quality-focused environment where you will guide a team of experienced tradespeople whilst maintaining the specific standards that cater towards a niche group of clients working on specific high standard products.

Coming from a trade background, and (ideally) an experienced operator with Mazak CNC machines background you will be at ease providing guidance on best practice solutions and naturally mentoring others to strive towards excellence.

You will lead an energetic team who deliver exciting and innovative short run production jobs, where you will have at your disposal skilled tradespeople and operators who are eager for a leader who is ambitious and has natural flair for adding value and impact where you can have real-time influence over production operations.

Ideal candidates will have:

3+ years Mazak programming/operating experience

Proven leadership responsibilities
