Your new role

Responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the design process across all projects, ensuring the seamless integration of design concepts with construction execution. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure that all designs are both functional and compliant with industry standards. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage design teams efficiently.

• Lead and manage the technical design process for interior fit-out projects, ensuring that all designs meet both client expectations and building regulations.
• Supervise and mentor a team of designers and technical specialists, providing guidance on technical issues, project timelines, and quality control.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, architects, consultants, and engineers to develop and implement designs that are cost-effective, innovative, and technically feasible.

What you'll need to succeed

First and foremost, be a good, fun individual that enjoys coming to work and contribute to the culture- hard working but enjoying each other's time.

Excellent communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out processes, materials, and construction methods.
• In-depth understanding of Australian building codes, standards, and health and safety regulations.
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in design management within the fit-out and refurbishment construction industry.
  Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy-efficient design solutions
