Civil project engineer required for national client side Project Management firm

A national and diverse client side Project Management firm that delivers projects on behalf of major clients across Australia. Brilliant culture and supportive Directors. Work on landmark projects but on the nicer side of the fence, the PM consultancy side. Manage all stakeholders on behalf of the client. These 2 roles require the person to be based 2 days on site, West side of Melbourne.

Your new role

Your role will be to use your Tier 1 contractor construction delivery, or design experience on Melbourne projects, to manage all stakeholders in the delivery of various civil projects. These projects include earthworks, pavements, drainage, concrete works.

Manage projects from design through to delivery. Liaise with all major stakeholders to coordinate quality performance. Be removed from the on-site frustrations with more of a birds' eye consultant view of projects.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have, as per the clients request;

Civil Degree qualified

3-10 years experience in related organisation

Experience working for an Australian Tier 1 or 2 delivery contractor or design firm-capable of liaising with these organisations

Strong contractor negotiation experience within Australia
Experience working on major civil, earthworks road projects here in Australia.

Outstanding communication skills- as the role is of stakeholder management focus

Based in Melbourne with major Victorian project experience
