At Your Family OT, we’ve built a reputation as one of Brisbane’s top providers of high-quality NDIS reports and comprehensive ongoing therapy. We're known for doing things properly, not just ticking boxes.

About Us: We’re a small, but growing, NDIS practice based in Brisbane. We service suburbs from the Lockyer Valley through to the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. Presently, our team consists of:

Katherine, our Director and Senior Occupational Therapist (10+ years experience across paediatrics, adults, mental health, medicolegal, and NDIS)

Four Occupational Therapy Assistants, supporting ongoing therapy sessions.

One Administration Assistant, helping our operations run smoothly

After nearly 18 months of steady growth and building strong community relationships, we’re ready to welcome our next Occupational Therapist. Whether you’re a new graduate eager to learn, or an experienced clinician ready to grow your impact.

We're open to the right person, regardless of career stage. If you’re passionate about delivering high-quality therapy and want to work in a genuinely supportive and collaborative team, we would love to meet you.

What We Do: We provide NDIS funded OT services for participants of all ages. We don’t do cookie-cutter care plans or rush-through sessions. Instead, we support our participants through every step of their health journey. This includes providing detailed, evidence-based assessments and ongoing therapy that actually makes a difference in daily life.

This role is different. Here’s how we stand out:

We know the market is flooded with OT roles. Here's what makes working at Your Family OT a genuinely different experience:

Real-time collaboration, not isolation: We all work in our Bowen Hills office together, daily (except when we are seeing clients). We believe this fosters opportunities for shared learning, spontaneous peer support and mentoring in real time. No more feeling like you’re on your own after meeting the team once.

Unlimited support from an experienced Senior OT: You’ll have unlimited access to our Senior OT, with 10+ years’ experience across paediatrics, adults, mental health, medicolegal, and NDIS. This includes regular supervision, clinical discussion, report feedback, joint sessions and tailored career development.

A place to learn, grow, and explore: Our small team offers room to try different practice areas, from early childhood development to adult rehab and complex reports, all with support. New Graduates are especially welcome: you’ll have structured mentorship, a realistic caseload, and freedom to learn at your own pace. You won't be pushed into high billables before you're ready.

Flexible, once you're settled: We know flexibility matters, and we offer it after your onboarding phase. Admin from home, flexible hours, or lighter days – all possible in time.

What you’ll be doing:

Delivering OT services to NDIS participants across age groups (choose areas you’re confident in or want to explore).

Assessments, goal setting, ongoing therapy, and high-quality report writing.

Working across a variety of settings: clinic, community, schools, homes and even parks (we go where the participant is most comfortable).

Attending our Brisbane-based office daily for collaboration, support and shared care.

Engaging in clinical supervision, team case reviews and ongoing development.

What we’re looking for:

Qualified Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration.

Passion for client-centred practice and meaningful impact.

Interest in working with NDIS participants across lifespan.

Strong communication, teamwork and empathy.

A willingness to learn, reflect, and grow within a team.

New grads encouraged to apply. We want to support you to thrive, not just survive!

What we offer:

Small, caring team culture. You will never be just a number.

Office-based collaboration, supervision and true mentorship.

Immediate access to a Senior OT across multiple domains.

Realistic caseloads with gradual progression.

Flexible work arrangements post-induction.

Competitive remuneration package based on experience.

Career growth pathways into specialist domains if desired.

Regular team development days, lunches, and no egos.
