The Opportunity

ROUSSOS is partnering with a highly regarded civil contractor renowned for delivering a varied pipeline of infrastructure projects across South Australia. With expertise spanning civil construction, structural concreting, and commercial landscaping, this business is known for adaptability, reliability, and successfully delivering projects in challenging environments.

Due to sustained growth, the business is looking for a Project Manager to lead projects up to $40M. This role offers a genuine pathway for a Senior Project Engineer who has mastered the full project lifecycle and is ready to take ownership of end-to-end delivery. Backed by a strong leadership team and a culture that prioritises professional growth, this is an opportunity to step confidently into project leadership.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will oversee the full scope of project delivery, balancing responsibilities across both site and office environments. Your focus will be on driving outcomes, building high-performing teams, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring time, cost, and quality objectives are achieved
• Leading on-site activities while managing and mentoring engineering teams
• Conducting regular QA and HSE inspections to ensure compliance
• Preparing and reviewing documentation including Work Method Statements, ITPs, and risk assessments

The Like Mind

Ideally, you are either a Project Manager looking to diversify your experience or you are a Senior Project Engineer with proven experience delivering civil projects across varied scopes and complexities and ready to step up.

A tertiary qualification in civil engineering (or related discipline) is essential, along with demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership.
