About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/ Team Lead to join our dynamic team at Eskon. You will be responsible to drive end-to-end project and contract management for a live program (bridges and marine projects), lead a multi-disciplinary team, and land outcomes in line with our Client's Project Management Framework. This is a full-time position based in our Government Client's Adelaide office.

Candidates must have valid Australian work authorisation or be eligible to work in Australia.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering projects and / or multiple workflows, while responding to changing priorities and moving from detail to larger, strategic issues.

• Developing project plans for activities involving a number of components and / or groups of people.

• Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with the Program and Project Management Framework, including establishment of specific Project Management Plans and relevant registers and documentations, coordination of approvals, liaison with client and key stakeholders, and reporting.

• Using a high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to develop effective networks and communicate and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels.

• Providing sound, well-formulated written and verbal advice, reports and briefings to senior management.

• Working under limited direction, independently and as part of a team, identifying performance outcomes, planning and coordinating activities, setting priorities, achieving objectives within deadlines and making timely and well-informed decisions.

• Acting with urgency where necessary, while taking ownership of work and accepting responsibility, positively supporting change and risk management initiatives and implementing complex solutions within the span of assigned functions.

What we're looking for

10+ years of industry experience in marine and/or transport infrastructure project delivery and contract management.

Relevant tertiary qualification (engineering, construction management, or similar).

Proven leadership of high-risk, complex projects ≥ $50m (program or major project).

Track record leading multi-disciplinary teams to measurable outcomes.

Commercial acumen with demonstrated negotiation across complex stakeholder environments.

Mentoring mindset that supports junior staff's succession planning.

Experience with design and certification of bridges and/or marine infrastructure.

Prior delivery for SA Government or similar public sector environments would be advantageous.
