About the role - Residential Construction

Sun Construction Australia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Adelaide, SA. This full-time role is responsible for managing construction projects from planning through to delivery — overseeing quality, cost, schedule, safety, and compliance at every stage.

You will work office/onsite and collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets from concept through to delivery.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities for approvals.

Monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with drawings, standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct site meetings, resolve issues, and provide clear updates to stakeholders.

Control project costs, review variations, and report regularly on progress, risks, and financials.

Mentor and guide junior project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Organize project handover, oversee defect rectification, and manage the warranty period to deliver a seamless client experience.

What we're looking for - Immediate Start

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 5+ years of construction experience, including at least 3+ years in a project management role, with a proven track record of successfully delivering Residential projects.

In-depth knowledge of South Australian building regulations, NCC standards, approval processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, JACK, BUILDXACT, Primavera, or equivalent) and MS Office Suite.

Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.

Excellent problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making capabilities.

Possession of a Builder’s Licence (Classes 1 & 10) will be highly regarded.

Annual salary: AUD 100,000 – 150,000 (depending on experience)
