About the role

Bondi Tax Advisory is seeking a talented Junior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team on a temporary basis (6 months). As a Junior Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing specialised tax compliance services to our diverse client base. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the taxation industry and contribute to the strategic objectives of our growing firm.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns

Assisting with tax planning and compliance activities

Conducting research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities for clients

Collaborating with the broader team to provide exceptional client service

Maintaining detailed records and documentation

Staying up-to-date with evolving tax legislation and regulations

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

1-2 years of relevant experience in tax accounting or advisory services

Strong understanding of Australian tax laws, regulations and compliance requirements

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge in accounting software Xero and CLASS (optional)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
