We are a firm based in Alexandria, one of Sydney's fastest growing business districts, and have an opportunity for an experienced Intermediate Tax Accountant to join our friendly and supportive team.

The ideal candidate will have tax experience gained within a small/medium sized business.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Attending to clients and taking instructions.

Assisting other staff in all types of matters

Processing individual, partnership companies and trust funds tax returns,

Completing BAS's and company financials.

Using Xero, MYOB , MS Office and other bookkeeping software.

Previous experience using Handisoft Taxation Software preferred

An excellent understanding of ATO standards and requirements.

Bank reconciliations.

Experience / Qualifications Required:

Relevant qualifications within Business Commerce, Accounting and Tax.

Bachelor degree in Business Commerce, Accounting and Tax is required.

2+ years Tax Accounting experience.

Must have experience completing Tax returns.

Must have a reasonable understanding of ATO practices;

Exposure to the Xero software/ MYOB and Sage HandiSoft

Working knowledge of Xero and MYOB software is required.

Must have a satisfactory understanding processing BAS's and company financials.

Intermediate Excel Skills;

Australian citizenship is required for this position.
