We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a dynamic and forward-thinking not-for-profit organisation based in Brisbane. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful transformation projects that support strategic goals and improve outcomes across the organisation.

About the Role

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying and solving business challenges through technology and process transformation. You'll work closely with executive stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and deliver high-quality documentation to support project delivery.

You'll be involved in multiple concurrent projects, requiring a strategic mindset to identify synergies, overlaps, and opportunities across initiatives. Your ability to build strong relationships across teams and drive collaboration will be essential to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, validate, and document business and technical requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and system demonstrations.
• Model business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate vendor engagement and testing phases.
• Contribute to strategic planning and agile delivery frameworks.
• Mentor and coach team members on business analysis methodologies.
• Support continuous improvement and smarter ways of working.

About You

You're a proactive and collaborative Business Analyst with a passion for solving problems and driving innovation. You thrive in complex environments and enjoy working with diverse stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years' experience in business analysis within complex environments
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks
• Experience producing documentation such as process maps, user stories, and business cases.
• Proficiency with tools such as Monday.com, Teams, and Visio
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable:

• Business Analysis certification (e.g., BABOK)
• Experience facilitating UAT and creating user guides.
