About the Role

IMMEDIATE START

As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting and assisting patients with queries in person and over the phone,

Scheduling and managing appointments

Liaising with Medicare, DVA and private health funds

Liaising with healthcare providers, hospitals and staff

Booking and billing of surgeries

Handling patient records with accuracy and confidentiality

Managing billing and payments

What We’re Looking For

Warm and professional communication skills

Punctuality and reliability

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

Computer proficiency (medical software experience a plus)

Previous medical office or reception experience preferred, but not required

A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care

A caring, professional attitude toward patients and colleagues
