Fatboy Bikes is expanding - and we're bringing coffee with us. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Café Manager / Barista to take charge of launching and running our new in-house takeaway coffee shop.

About the Role

This is not your typical café gig. You’ll be setting up a brand-new coffee space within our Fatboy Bikes HQ in Caringbah - serving our customers, warehouse visitors, and the local community. From equipment sourcing and layout input to menu design and daily operations, you’ll have the freedom (and responsibility) to bring the café to life from the ground up.

You’ll be the go-to for all things café: from making incredible coffee to coordinating supplies, food options, and casual staff when needed. We want someone who can create a welcoming space with exceptional service - all with the energy and fun that Fatboy Bikes is known for.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the full setup and launch of the café, including equipment, layout, and initial supply ordering

Prepare and serve high-quality takeaway coffee and light food

Manage daily operations including stock, food safety, hygiene and maintenance

Coordinate supply orders and relationships with local vendors

Hire and manage casual café staff if and when required

Ensure excellent customer service and a smooth café experience for all patrons

Collaborate with the Fatboy team to create an atmosphere that reflects our brand values

Full-time - Tuesday - Saturday

About You

Experience managing or co-managing a café, including setup or launch involvement

Strong barista skills with a passion for great coffee and service

Confident running a venue solo and taking ownership of the customer experience

Organised and efficient with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Able to juggle both the operational and creative aspects of café management

Bonus: You love bikes, good vibes, and being part of something different
