Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse)

Location: Sale and/or Maffra, VIC
Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time or Casual. Hours & Days Negotiable (Monday to Friday only)

About the Role

Inglis Medical Centre is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Practice Nurse at either our Sale or Maffra clinics — or a combination of both, depending on your preference.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team of 18 GPs, providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a well-established and respected general practice setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist GPs with examinations, minor procedures, and treatments

Deliver general nursing care including wound management, administering medications, and immunisations

Conduct health assessments, screenings, vaccination clinics, and chronic disease management

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Promote preventative health and provide patient education

Adhere to clinical policies, procedures, and infection control protocols

About You

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

Accredited Nurse Immuniser qualification, or willingness to obtain

Previous experience in general practice or medical/surgical nursing is desirable — training will be provided

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in using electronic medical records and patient management systems

Collaborative team player with a commitment to best practice and continuous professional development
