REGISTERED and ENROLLED NURSE

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic, well organised and experienced General Practice Nurse (RN) and (EN). The nurse will work within the scope of the practice and be responsible for treatment room, providing patient centred care, cultural understanding and holistic methods to all patients. The nurse will provide high quality care, compassion, multidisciplinary knowledge and willing to upskill and learn on the job.

Qualifications:

Registration Nurse: Bachelor of Nursing, current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency (AHPRA)

Endorsed Enrolled Nurse: Certificate IV or Diploma of Nursing with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency (AHPRA)

Vaccination

Essential Skills:

General practice experience

Computer skills with Windows, MS Office and patient database software

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team

Time management and ability to prioritise tasks

Wound care and treatment room procedures

Recall and reminder management

Infection control understanding

OHS/WHS

Managing immunisation databases and recalls and reminders

Desirable Skills:

Experience with Best Practice or other medical software

Experience in GPMP/TCA, care planning and CDM.
