We’re now looking for a Transport & Coating Coordinator to join our Geelong team. If you thrive on organisation, communication, and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes, this role is your chance to build a career with impact.

The Role

As our Transport & Coating Coordinator, you’ll be the vital link connecting workshops, coating contractors, freight providers, and project teams. Your coordination skills will ensure steel moves seamlessly through transport and coating stages, keeping projects on schedule, up to standard, and meeting client expectations every time.

Your day-to-day will include:

Scheduling transport of fabricated steel to/from workshops, coating facilities, and sites.

Liaising with freight providers, subcontractors, and suppliers to confirm bookings and timelines.

Coordinating blasting, painting, galvanising, and other coating processes.

Keeping documentation up to date - delivery dockets, coating reports, compliance records.

Supporting project managers with updates, problem-solving, and reporting.

Helping drive continuous improvement in our transport and coating processes.

About You

You’re a natural organiser who loves details and communication, with the ability to keep multiple moving parts on track.

You’ll bring:

Experience in engineering, fabrication, transport/logistics, or coatings.

Knowledge of steel coating and finishing requirements, plus logistics processes.

Strong administrative skills to manage schedules, reports, and compliance records.

Confidence interpreting drawings, reports, and technical documents.

Proficiency with computer systems (Excel, databases, scheduling software).

Great communication and interpersonal skills with a solutions-driven mindset.

A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Bonus points if you hold a Coating Inspector Program or NACE certification.
