They are currently seeking an experienced Transport and Cartage Coordinator to join their team.

Reporting to the Transport & Customs Manager, your responsibilities will encompass, but not be limited to:

Monitoring and tracking various shipments to ensure on-time deliveries.

Accurate and timely entry of shipment data and updates

Efficiently planning door-to-door routes at a competitive cost.

Supporting destination branch operations by capturing and conveying precise shipment details through the system. This includes contact information for delivery points, special handling requirements for value-added services, relevant shipment documentation, and cost details for delivery and other destination services.

Meeting Key Performance Indicator (KPI) standards in alignment with company and product procedures.

Upholding the company's cultural values and policies.

Engaging with customers through phone and e-mail communication.

Daily interaction with transport carriers.

Managing transportation delays, shortages, discrepancies, and any other delivery challenges that may arise.

To be eligible for this role, you should demonstrate:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in cartage coordination with a full understanding of Wharf Cartage Transporation.

Proficiency in dealing with internal and external stakeholders, including transport companies and direct customer interactions.

Prior experience in freight forwarding a MUST

Proficiency in Microsoft software, 1 - Stop or similar
