The Role

At Peter Sadler Removals and Logistics, we go beyond simply moving goods, we deliver tailored logistics solutions that support the success of our clients' supply chains. We're now seeking a skilled and proactive Transport Coordinator to lead and optimise our transport operations in Melbourne, ensuring seamless, compliant, and customer-focused service delivery across our fleet.

We run a 24-hour, 6-days-a-week operation, so we’re looking for a Transport Coordinator who can thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment and take full ownership of our transport operations. This role requires a hands-on person who is proactive, thrives in a team environment and can add value amongst our Transport operations.

Support the transport team across all shifts to ensure smooth day to day operations.

Coordinate and schedule the dispatch for both local and interstate freight, optimising fleet utilisation and meeting delivery timeframes.

Work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership to proactively resolve issues.

Support and foster a positive team environment, aligned with Peter Sadler's core values of care, integrity, and excellence.

Skills and experience

Transport Operations experience preferred but not necessary.

Strong numeracy and literacy skills.

Ability to work within effectively with teams.

Excellent communication at all levels.

Ability to identify & solve problems or issues within the workspace.

Excellent time management skills.
