We’re working with a client delivering a high-rise Class 2 residential development valued above $100m in Sydney. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take the lead role in overseeing all aspects of delivery from contract award through to completion.
Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: Take full responsibility for planning, execution, and completion of a $100m+ Class 2 residential development.
• Leadership: Manage and mentor site teams, project engineers, and contract administrators to achieve program and quality outcomes.
• Program & Procurement: Oversee project program, procurement strategy, and letting of trade packages.
• Commercial Management: Track budgets, variations, and cost reporting to ensure strong financial performance.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities to resolve design, compliance, and delivery issues.
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure WHS, QA, and statutory obligations are met across the project lifecycle.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership and clients on progress, risks, and project performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on Class 2 residential projects valued over $100m
• Solid understanding of contracts, procurement, construction sequencing, and project financials
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive large project teams and subcontractor groups
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability in high-pressure environments
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
