On The Ball Personnel, is super excited to provide an excellent opportunity to join an Australian owned, highly successful Company, based in beautiful Rockhampton. They design, install, monitor & maintain smart solar systems. Our client is offering a unique opportunity where you only work Monday thru to Friday and save the weekend to do fishing, spend time with family and friends or simply hang out.
As the Solar Sales Agent, you will be responsible for generating and converting sales opportunities that have been generated via warm leads. You will be responsible for the conversion of the warm leads via a phone conversation and then potentially book an appointment where you will meet face to face with the client educate and then close the sale. This Company has an excellent reputation that will have an impact on your sales conversion. You will also be mentored by the head of Sales.
The Role:
Proactively qualify warm leads through inbound enquiries, referrals, and outbound activity
Conduct customer consultations (phone, online, and in-person) to understand energy needs and provide tailored solutions
Complete on-site assessments where required
Prepare, present, and follow up on quotes in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of design, pricing, product and finance options if required
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Accurately maintain CRM records, customer notes, and sales reporting
Communicate effectively with the Electricians and install teams, providing accurate information and updates to support a smooth customer experience
Stay up to date with solar products, rebates, incentives, and compliance requirements
Represent the company in a professional, ethical, and customer-focused manner
What you'll need to succeed:
Sales experience in solar, energy, or related technical/consultative industries preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – ability to build trust quickly
Ability to explain technical solutions in a simple, customer-friendly way
Goal-driven with resilience and persistence
Organised and detail-oriented, with good documentation habits.
Tech-savvy with CRM and digital sales tools
Current driver’s license (required for site visits)
