Totally Flooring currently has a position available for an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Consultant to join our dynamic sales team in our Bundall Showroom.

Totally Flooring is a family owned and operated company specialising in all floor coverings and window furnishings across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Scenic Rim. From sales to installation we offer customer service focused expertise.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Within the role of a Sales Consultant you will be required to promote and sell the leading Floor Coverings in store from Australian Solid Timbers, Engineered Timbers, Hybrid, Vinyl, Tiles, Carpet, Curtains and Blinds across the Gold Coast and Scenic Rim.

Quoting will be conducted both in-store and on the road and will also include a variety of different tasks.

Skills and experience
Experience in the industry particularly floor coverings and/or blinds is a must to be successful in this position.

The successful candidate will:

Have a passion for selling

Have strong sales experience with a proven history of success in the flooring industry

Drive to go the 'extra mile' for your customers

Success with working toward KPI's and targets

Ability to use a computer and basic Word documents

Ability to follow direction and instructions

Results driven and proactive

Great work ethic, time management skills and ability to work under pressure

Ability to present well and build relationships and rapport with customers

Established problem solving and negotiation skills

Excellent organisation and planning skills to ensure efficiency

Current QLD manual licence

Minimum 38 hours per week

Weekend work (Saturdays) is required on a rotating roster.
