Your new role

APS6 or EL1 Procurement and Contracts Specialist (12 month Labour Hire)
As a Procurement and Contracts Specialist, you'll support the delivery of compliant and effective procurement and contract management services. You'll contribute to the implementation of new frameworks and systems that enhance procurement capability and streamline processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide accurate advice on complex procurement and contract matters
• Lead major procurement and tendering activities across various contract types
• Prepare strategic procurement documentation including plans, risk assessments, and agreements
• Ensure compliance with relevant procurement frameworks and policies
• Drive business and process improvement initiatives, including training and support

What you'll need to succeed

You bring strong experience in government procurement and contract management, with a deep understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and related frameworks.

Your strengths include:

• High-level written, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes
• Experience in ICT, property/construction, or asset management procurement (highly regarded)
• Current Baseline Security Clearance
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
