A high-profile government department is seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to support its security-focused division. This role offers the chance to contribute to nationally significant initiatives while working within a dynamic and collaborative team.

Your new role

You'll be responsible for managing procurement activities from initiation to contract execution. Key duties include:

• Preparing procurement documentation such as Approvals to Approach the Market and Evaluation Outcomes
• Administering contracts and purchase orders using SAP
• Providing policy advice and resolving contract-related issues
• Ensuring compliance with government procurement legislation and internal finance policies
• Supporting mailbox and document management
• Maintaining accurate records in internal databases

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 4 years' experience in government procurement
• Strong understanding of the PGPA Act and Commonwealth Contracting Suite (CCS)
• Experience with SAP or similar financial systems
• NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory)
• Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
