About the role

We are seeking Disability Support Workers to provide in-home support for our client located in the Southern Suburbs. We are looking for Support Workers who have experience supporting individuals with brain injuries.

Your key responsibilities

Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Workers who can undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Personal Care including skin integrity management and pressure area care
• Assisting with ADL's
• Medication Administration
• Manual Handling
• Supporting the client to access the community
• Behavioural Management
• Domestic duties

About you

To join our team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Full SA Driver's Licence and reliable car
• NDIS Workers Screening Check
• Working with Children Clearance
• Current First Aid & CPR Certification
• Manual Handling Certification
• Assist with Medication Certification
• English Fluency - verbal and written
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent required

We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client-focused.

We are looking for support workers who can commit to 2-3 shifts per week as a minimum, we have shifts available Thursdays, Fridays and possibly other weekdays or weekends. Shift times vary between 7am to 9:30pm. We may also have some night shifts available.
