About the role

Join our passionate and dedicated team at Balanced Care Disability Service and Support as a Casual Disability Support Worker. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals living with disabilities in the Mawson Lakes SA 5095 area. What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Supporting clients to participate in recreational, social, and community-based activities

Advocating for clients and ensuring their rights, needs, and preferences are respected

Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies and procedures

Collaborating with the broader care team to provide holistic and coordinated support

What we're looking for

A minimum of 2

year of experience in the aged care or disability support sector

A strong commitment to person-centred care and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification

A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (desirable)

A current First Aid certificate and Police Check (essential)
