About the role

Inspire Care SA Pty Ltd is seeking passionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team in Adelaide, SA. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised care and support to individuals living with disabilities, empowering them to live independent and fulfilling lives.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with their daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

Facilitating community access and participation, including accompanying clients to appointments, social events, and recreational activities

Implementing and monitoring individualised support plans, ensuring client needs and goals are met

Providing emotional support and advocacy, and promoting the rights and dignity of clients

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to client care and support

Collaborating with the broader care team to ensure seamless and coordinated support

What we're looking for

A genuine passion for supporting and empowering individuals living with disabilities

Experience in the aged care or disability support sector, or a demonstrated commitment to the industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients

Patience, empathy, and a person-centred approach to care

Familiarity with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in the aged care and disability support sector

A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
