The Opportunity
Are you a passionate and creative Chef ready to take the lead at one of Bayside’s most celebrated dining destinations? We’re seeking a dynamic Executive Chef to head up our Brighton restaurant. This is a full-time, hands-on role requiring flexibility and a genuine commitment to excellence.

Your Responsibilities

Partner with the Owner to uphold and evolve Baix’s culinary identity

Lead kitchen operations during service

Maintain an immaculate and well-organised kitchen with strong back-of-house systems

Recruit, train, and inspire the kitchen team, setting and upholding high professional standards

Mentor and coach your brigade, always leading by example

Oversee rostering and labour cost management for the back of house

Manage product ordering, supplier relationships, and stock control

Drive menu innovation, consistency, and presentation while contributing ideas for wine-pairing experiences
