Cafe Greco, a renowned Greek restaurant known for its warm hospitality and traditional flavours, is looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and elevate our culinary experience.

Location: Oakleigh, Vic
Position: Full-Time, Head Chef
Salary: $100,000 annually + Superannuation + bonuses and incentives

Your Role:
As Head Chef, you’ll be responsible for:

· Leading day-to-day kitchen operations with excellence
· Creating and refining a high-quality Greek menu with seasonal specials
· Managing and mentoring the kitchen staff
· Ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
· Overseeing inventory, cost control, and vendor relationships
· Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment

What We're Looking For:

· Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef (Greek or Mediterranean cuisine preferred)

· Passion for traditional Greek cooking and ingredients
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting
· Culinary degree or equivalent experience
