We are seeking experienced and reliable male disability support workers to provide 2:1 support to a young participant with complex behavioural needs. This role requires workers who are confident, assertive, and experienced in supporting participants with high intensity requirements.

About the Role

Shifts available:
• 3:00 pm – 9:00 am (sleepover included)
• 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm

High intensity support – above award rates apply

Consistent and ongoing roster

Work within a supportive team environment with management guidance

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily living support, personal care, and assistance with evening and morning routines

Implement and follow behaviour support strategies for complex behaviours

Maintain accurate reporting, including detailed shift notes and incident records

Take initiative, problem solve on shift, and remain calm under pressure

Work assertively within a 2:1 support model, ensuring participant safety and wellbeing

About You

Male support worker (requirement due to participant's care needs)

Demonstrated experience with complex participants and behaviours of concern

Minimum 6-12 months experience working with complex participants and behaviours of concern is required

Strong reporting skills, both written and verbal

Confident in decision-making, assertive, and able to follow behaviour support plans

Reliable, professional, and able to build positive rapport

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, Police Check, First Aid, and a valid driver's licence (or willing to obtain)

Must have legal work rights in Australia
