The Role

My FootDr Palmerston is seeking a friendly and experienced receptionist to join our Podiatry clinic team on a casual basis. We expect that our staff are enthusiastic and driven in their thirst for knowledge and development.

The role is ideally suited to someone with a "can do" attitude, a willingness to learn new things and someone who is process driven. There are endless development opportunities for the right person!

Key responsibilities:

Customer Service: Provide a warm and welcoming environment for all patients, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter the clinic.

Appointment Management: Efficiently manage patient bookings, cancellations, and follow-up appointments.

Footwear Fitting and Sales: Assist customers with fitting and purchasing footwear, ensuring they receive the best possible advice and products.

Sterilisation of Instruments: Ensure all podiatry instruments are properly sterilised and maintained according to our stringent hygiene standards.

Podiatrist Assistance: Provide assistance to podiatrists as needed, ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Administrative Duties: Manage patient records, handle billing and payments, and perform general administrative tasks.

About You

Ideally, we'd like someone with allied health or medical reception experience, but a positive attitude is by far the most important! We'd love to hear from those people who want to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment, and who are confident in meeting deadlines and working to achieve team-based goals.

Ideal candidates will have:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Exceptional phone manner

Professional presentation

Team Player with a "can do" attitude

Proficient use of Microsoft suite

A passion for excellent customer service

Ability to work under pressure and multi-task with high attention to detail

Self-motivated and enjoy contributing to a team environment

Previous experience within the Allied Health reception and patient care is highly regarded
