YASI Fun Club is the Northern Rivers’ boldest creative playground. A neon-lit wonderland where kids dive into art, games, movement, and sensory play. We’re not your average play centre: we fuse art, carnival-style games, and sensory exploration into an unforgettable experience.
We’re looking for a local Marketing Coordinator to join our team and help bring the YASI Fun Club story to life across every channel. You’ll work directly with our Founder & Creative Director, Jasmine (who acts as Marketing Director), taking her creative ideas and ensuring they’re executed, followed up, and delivered across both traditional and digital marketing.
THE ROLE
This is a hands-on, detail-driven role. You’ll be the one making sure campaigns run smoothly, stakeholders are followed up, and no marketing ball is ever dropped. From chasing up media reps and PR contacts to editing photos, scheduling posts, and typing up notes after meetings, you’ll be the organised backbone that turns creative vision into finished campaigns.
You’ll also play a key role in supporting both the Founder, Jasmine and our Venue Manager/Lead Facilitator, Sara. That means helping to keep our customer-facing systems (Bookeo booking platform, website updates, event listings) sharp and on-brand.
On top of that, you’ll be sitting in on all marketing meetings with media reps, Simone (our Digital Marketing Specialist), contractors, and partners, making sure follow-ups are captured, reports are understood, and strategy is executed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination & Admin (your core focus)
• Turn creative direction into action: type up scripts, meeting notes, and feedback for contractors.
• Follow up with TV stations, radio reps, printers, and media partners.
• Sit in on all marketing meetings with Jasmine, ensuring analytics reports and strategy aren’t lost in translation.
• Support the Venue Manager with marketing-related customer service needs, including website and Bookeo updates.
• Manage marketing emails, PR outreach, scheduling, and campaign admin.
• Track budgets, timelines, and deliverables to keep campaigns moving.
• Be the point of contact for contractors, media reps, and partners.
Content & Asset Management
• Collect and organise photos and videos from photographers and videographers.
• Edit and resize assets for social and advertising (basic editing, cropping, formatting).
• Schedule and publish content across social platforms.
Design & Content Creation
• Design digital assets (social posts, ads, flyers, posters) in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Adobe Express.
• Create Reels, TikToks, and social content (iPhone capture + editing in CapCut/Adobe Software).
Digital Marketing (with our Digital Marketing Specialist)
• Support with ad content creation and optimisation across Meta and Google.
• Provide assets, feedback, and coordination support to Simone (our Digital Marketing Specialist).
• Assist in analysing campaign data and reports to ensure strategy is executed smoothly.
Website & Booking Systems
• Monitor and update website content (WordPress back-end management using Elementor).
• Manage and update customer booking platform (Bookeo).
Traditional & Local Marketing
• Support campaigns across print, radio, TV, and outdoor media.
• Coordinate local collaborations, sponsorships, and influencer partnerships.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred, but recent graduates encouraged to apply).
• Strong organisational skills - you thrive on detail and follow-through.
• Confident handling budgets, campaign planning, and marketing terminology.
• Strong design skills with Adobe Creative Suite + Canva.
• Working knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Ads, and social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest).
• Experience with website content management (WordPress, Elementor).
• Experience managing CRMs or booking platforms (bonus if familiar with Bookeo).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
Bonus Skills:
• Copywriting
• Photography/videography experience.
• Comfortable creating and editing short-form video content.
