Food & Beverage Operations

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for helping oversee the day-to-day food & beverage requirements of The Weld Club, including supporting and mentoring a team of up to 15 staff. Experience within fine dining restaurants and 5-star establishments preferred. This role includes the oversight of multiple service styles ranging from la carte, private dinners, small and large-scale functions, external offsite events and exclusive cocktail parties.

This position demands a flexible attitude towards hours on a rotating day/evening roster.

Experience and passion are essential for this role, the successful candidate will be a strong leader that is willing to work in a team environment under the guidance of the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities,

To provide an efficient, friendly and exceptional 5-star standard of service for members and their guests within the multiple styles of service we offer.

Maintain a high standard of grooming and appearance and ensure the team maintains our standard throughout their shift.

Experience and passionate in training staff on the job, to deliver excellence in service, in line with the Club’s standards and expectations.

Training staff to the appropriate level required to perform their tasks to a level of excellence in accordance with club’s services and standards.

Has a thorough knowledge of the food menus, an understanding and appreciation of wine and experience with cocktails.

Liaises with all required departments to ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Accurately recording stock movements, use of POS system and stock control.

Set up and break down function rooms according to requirements.

Observe workplace hygiene, occupational health and safety, and security procedures and supervision of the team throughout shift as per Club expectations.

Ensure all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines are carefully adhered to by all members of staff and guests of the Club.

WA unrestricted “Approved Manager’s License” is required for this role.
