Warehouse on-floor supervisor

Sound knowledge of Carton Cloud WMS including the ability to set up new client including rates cards, products as well as creating POs and SOs.

Minimum 3+ years of advanced Carton Cloud WMS experience required, including client setup capabilities.

Answering phones for incoming operations enquiries.

Liaising with management, supplies and customers with respect to warehouse operations and yard movements.

Liaise with freight forwarders regarding container deliveries and pickups.

Sound working knowledge of all warehousing/storage duties performed at all levels.

Minimum 3-5 years of comprehensive warehousing experience required across all operational levels.

Ensuring day-to-day operations are running effectively and efficiently.

The ability to supervise and provide direction and guidance to other employees.

Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience required to effectively lead and guide warehouse staff.

Detailing and coordinating activities of other storeworkers and admin support staff and acting in a leading hand capacity.

Ensuring that all picks and done in a timely manner.

Receive, check, and put away incoming goods.

Unload and load trucks/containers safely and efficiently.

Assisting with dispatching customer orders.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lift and other equipment (if licensed).

Valid forklift licence required at time of application.

General labouring/warehouse duties as required.

Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including Occupational Health and Safety.

Maintaining and ensuring the safe use of any equipment as required.

Maintain and continue to hold appropriate and valid licences as required.

Good time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise during busy periods.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of warehouse areas including the yard.

Other tasks as required.
