About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will see you take ownership of analysing and managing the financial information behind our production costs. You’ll provide the insights that shape pricing decisions, highlight efficiency opportunities, and help optimise both our manufacturing processes and overall business performance.

It’s a hands-on role where your financial expertise will directly influence how we grow and compete, a great fit for someone who enjoys problem-solving, partnering across teams, and making a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate costing systems across labour, materials, and production methods.

Provide production reporting and analysis to drive operational performance.

Track and report on labour and material efficiency, machine utilisation, throughput, and other key metrics.

Maintain BOMs, standard costs, and SKU set-ups in the ERP system.

Support pricing decisions with accurate cost and market analysis.

Assist with inventory counts, stocktakes, and related reconciliations.

Review obsolete stock and recommend provisions/write-offs.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of General Ledger accounts (Inventory, COGS, and variances).

Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Accounting (CMA/CIMA qualification desirable).

Strong experience in manufacturing or production environments.

In-depth understanding of cost accounting principles and methodologies.

Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Strong financial modelling and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across multiple departments.
