To support this growth, we are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to play a critical role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.
Position Summary
The Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial health and operational success of Noumed Pharmaceuticals. This position is responsible for preparing accurate and timely management reports, monitoring inventory and manufacturing costs, and providing insightful financial analysis to guide decision-making across the business. Working closely with production, quality, and commercial teams, the role will ensure alignment of financial performance with operational and strategic objectives. The Management Accountant will also contribute to budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and continuous improvement of financial systems and processes, supporting Noumed's growth across the ANZ region.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver monthly management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
Provide financial analysis and commentary across manufacturing, inventory, and cost centres.
Support budgeting and forecasting, highlighting variances and emerging trends.
Monitor inventory valuations and COGS, ensuring compliance with TGA and GMP standards.
Track capital expenditure and assist in business case development for new products or facilities.
Partners with operational leads to interpret results and drive informed decision-making.
Maintain integrity of the general ledger, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies as required.
Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and controls.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
CA/CPA qualified (or near completion).
Minimum of 3-5 years of management accounting experience is required.
Experience in a manufacturing, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environment (desirable).
Strong understanding of inventory management, standard costing, and production accounting.
Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (SAP preferred).
Advanced user-level ERP system experience is required.
Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Clear communication skills, able to work effectively across diverse teams.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet competing deadlines.
