About the role

We are looking for a trainee accountant for a permanent part time position that is available for immediate start. You will be assisting and working alongside our accountant. Part time hours 9am - 3:00pm Monday to Friday.

You will be fulfilling a vital and important role at Victor Footwear and will be responsible for:

Allocating daily banking

Follow up on overdue accounts

Checking trade references for new account applications

Ensuring all data entered is accurate

General administration

The person

Must have certificate 3 or 4 or a diploma in accounting

Must have a professional demeanour with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Professional telephone manner

Ability to work in a team and independently

Has the ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

Experience with Pronto is an advantage, but not mandatory
