Orana Incorporated
Posted 15 days ago
At Orana, we believe every person deserves the opportunity to live and work with dignity, purpose, and choice. For over 75 years, we’ve been creating opportunities for people with disability to live their best lives — and we’re looking for a motivated Coordinating Supervisor to join our team.
This is a unique role that blends people leadership, administration, and service delivery. You’ll oversee the day-to-day operation of the site, provide supervision and training to supported employees, and ensure safe, positive, and meaningful work experiences for people with disability.
What you’ll be doing
As our Coordinating Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in:
Leading and supporting supervisors in the daily management of site operations.
Coordinating incoming jobs, deliveries, invoicing, scheduling, and procurement.
Providing supervision, training, and on-the-job support for employees with disability.
Developing and maintaining Vocational Plans, Wage Assessments, and Disability Maintenance Instruments.
Monitoring workplace safety, wellbeing, and quality standards.
Maintaining accurate records, including training documentation and employee progress.
Building strong relationships with families, carers, customers, and the community.
Contributing to continuous improvement, production quality, and service excellence.
This role is both hands-on and strategic — one day you may be coaching employees in safe use of equipment, the next ensuring compliance with quality standards, or liaising with families and carers.
About you
We’re looking for a leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about empowering people with disability. You will have:
Demonstrated experience in leading and supporting teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with people of all abilities.
Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and organisational skills.
Administrative experience, including rostering, payroll, and reporting.
Confidence working under pressure and managing competing priorities.
A strong commitment to Work Health & Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, and quality improvement.
Computer literacy and sound numeracy/literacy skills.
A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel regionally if required.
Essential requirements (or willingness to obtain):
NDIS Worker Check & National Police Clearance.
First Aid & CPR certificate.
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
Why join Orana?
Be part of an organisation with a proud history of supporting people with disability.
A role with variety — administration, leadership, training, and client engagement.
A supportive, values-driven team environment.
Opportunities to make a tangible impact in the lives of others.
Ongoing professional development.
This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to lead with purpose and create opportunities for people with disability to achieve their goals.
Apply now and be part of Orana’s mission to build a more inclusive future.
