You’ve always wanted to be a project manager. To lead people. To be the expert everyone goes to with questions.

You’re not quite there yet skills-wise – but you know you have the attitude and smarts to do it.

You’ve got a decent post-grad (5 years+) skill base, you've delivered FO/Refurb projects before with a builder, and you enjoy doing things the right way. Cutting corners isn’t for you.

In this role, you’ll have 4 hands-on directors who can teach you the things you don't yet know. It might be how to price projects properly, program without making mistakes or knowing how to keep clients happy.

You'll work with a very happy team where retention is high and for a builder that has an excellent reputation in Sydney, you won't hear a bad word said about them.

Initially, the salary will be $130-$170k package with a yearly financial appraisal and bonus, which has been paid in 9 of the last 10 years. This figure will quickly rise as you learn more skills.

This looks perfect for me, but what do you expect from me?

Just 4 key skills or experience that you need to tick to be suitable;

• You've delivered fitout projects in Australia for a head contractor as either a CA, Project coordinator or as a PM previously.
• You can demonstrate how to program a project, understand where commercial profits are in a project and how to budget properly.
• You have a construction-related degree or other relevant qualifications. TAFE and Diplomas would be considered.
• You have 5+ years of experience in the construction sector in Australia.
