We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Educator to join our team at Bossy Boots Early Learning Kingscliff. As a Lead Educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the learning and development of young children, fostering their growth through engaging educational programs and a nurturing environment.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement high-quality, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Mentor and support educators, modelling best practices in childcare and early childhood education

Collaborate with parents and guardians to understand each child's individual needs and create personalised learning experiences

Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes the well-being and holistic development of children

Maintain accurate records, observations, and assessments to track children's progress and inform future planning

Comply with all relevant childcare regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care

What we're looking for

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent

Demonstrated experience as a Lead Educator or in a similar role within the childcare industry

Strong understanding of child development and the ability to design tailored educational programs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the wider community

Proven ability to mentor and support a team of educators, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment

Enthusiasm for ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry best practices

Valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
