2IC House and Socials Manager
Part-Time ( Up to 36 hours a week ) | Disability & Social Programs | Carrington, NSW
Are you an experienced support worker or team leader looking to step into a leadership support role? We’re seeking a reliable and proactive 2IC House & Social Manager to work alongside our House & Social Manager in the day-to-day operations of our SIL (Supported Independent Living) and ILO (Individualised Living Options) services — and to assist in managing our growing social programs.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who can confidently step in to support the smooth running of the house and programs when required.
About the Role
Support the House Manager with daily operations and administration.
Provide leadership and oversight on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (covering the House Manager’s rostered days off).
Assist with staff coordination, monitoring performance, and ensuring routines and schedules are followed.
Respond to enquiries from families, guardians, allied health professionals, and support coordinators.
Step into additional duties when the House Manager is on annual leave, including planning and supporting community activities, outings, and social programs.
Maintain accurate records, compliance, and documentation.
Contribute to team meetings and continuous service improvement.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in disability support, ideally within SIL/ILO environments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability, with a proactive and organised approach.
Confidence in liaising with families, guardians, and external stakeholders.
Competence with administrative and computer systems.
Availability to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays is essential.
