Marketing Coordinator
Salary: $90,000 p/year + superannuation
Working hours: We’re open to a part-time employee (pro-rata at the above salary) if this gets us a higher level of candidate. Minimum working hours would be 3 days a week. Working from home is not available it is important that work is done on site in Canning Vale.
Benefits: We’re open to supporting the candidate with training/ qualifications of their choice to further their career.
Career Progression: This is the first hire in what is envisaged to be a 2-4 person team within the next 3 years. Progression to the role of marketing manager will be available as the team grows.
Other: A Generous budget will be provided to purchase all equipment required for the role, including a computer, filming equipment, software..etc.
Personal Characteristics & Skills
The candidate should be results focused. They should be able to determine the ROI of any marketing activities and preferably have experience in doing this in the past.
Formal training/ qualifications will be looked upon favorably, but it’s not essential.
Familiar with Hubspot marketing platform, and ideally worked with it before.
Able to work with other departments and use these learnings to influence their marketing efforts to ensure company-wide alignment.
The candidate will be able to think strategically as well as creatively
The candidate will have passion for the role and be self-driven. They will maintain their own momentum and drive sales momentum with a steady stream of new leads.
The candidate will be comfortable visiting customers for content creation when required.
Happy to work onsite in an open-plan office.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Marketing Coordinator, your primary responsibilities include:
Campaign Development
Strategize, design, and execute monthly marketing campaigns. These should reflect our core beliefs and align with strategic business objectives to generate leads, boost brand awareness, and increase customer engagement.
Manage outbound lead generation activities to book sales discovery visits or site audits with prospective customers.
Content Creation
Produce impactful content for diverse channels, including social media, email newsletters, blogs, and online advertisements. All content should reflect the core beliefs of the business and maintain a consistent, clear, brand-aligned message.
Brand Management
Create and update all sales and marketing assets to ensure they align with the look and tone of the brand and remain relevant to strategic objectives.
Manage a website refresh project to ensure our online presence more accurately reflects our offering and aligns us better to attract higher tier customers.
Market Research
Analyze industry trends, customer needs and competitor activities to assist with strategic direction.
Collaboration
Work alongside the Sales Team to tailor marketing initiatives to customer needs and align with strategic sales goals.
Customer Engagement
Lead projects that elevate the customer experience, including webinars, case studies and testimonials.
Innovative Initiatives
Brainstorm and implement creative strategies that set us apart from competitors.
Develop campaigns and programs that foster customer loyalty and long-term engagement.
What does success look like?
Success in this role is if our sales team visit a new prospect (particularly one who fits our target market description), and they’ve already heard of our company.
Success in this role is when marketing efforts are helping to build culture and alignment within the business.
Success in this role means consistently creating content that speaks to and addresses the needs of our target market.
