My client are after a Mainframe Security Specialist with deep expertise in RACF to join their growing team. This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and administer RACF security controls, ensuring compliance and access management across z/OS environments.

Develop, implement, and maintain mainframe security standards, policies, and procedures.

Conduct security reviews, risk assessments, and audits to identify gaps and recommend improvements.

Partner with infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to deliver secure and reliable mainframe solutions.

Support incident investigations and provide subject matter expertise in RACF and mainframe security.

Skills & Experience:

Strong experience working with IBM z/OS mainframe systems.

Deep technical knowledge of RACF (policies, profiles, permissions, and administration).

Proven track record in mainframe security management and compliance frameworks.

Familiarity with mainframe performance, monitoring, and automation tools.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
