We are looking for energetic Cook to be part of our team in Casa Bar & Restaurant. We offer authentic Italian cuisine in a fun & stylish atmosphere. Position Description:

 Inspecting food items to ensure they meet quality and safety standards

 Monitoring and adjusting the temperatures of ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment

 Preparing and cooking meals according to recipes or specifications

 Seasoning dishes appropriately during the cooking process

 Portioning meals, plating food attractively, and adding sauces, gravies, and garnishes

 Storing ingredients and prepared food in temperature-controlled environments

 Preparing meals that cater to specific dietary needs or restrictions

 Assist in menu planning and estimating food and ingredient requirements

 Responsible for training and mentoring kitchen staff and apprentices

To be considered for this role, you should:

Hold an AQF Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery

Have at least 3 year work experience as Cook

Possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members;

Be willing to follow directions and ask questions for clarification if needed.

Good interpersonal and communication skills;

Able to work in a fast paced environment; multitask and handle stress;

Able to commit beyond normal working hours as when required.

Annual Salary: AUD 70,000 - 80,000
