The Client
Make your mark as a detail-orientated Administrator in a fast-paced, high-performing team, just outside Perth's CBD. This is an initial 6-month contract with high probability of going permanent.
The Role
Our client is looking for an efficient Administration Officer with strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills, and a knack for producing polished, professional documents. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, formatting, and clear communication especially in the context of tenders, proposals and business submissions.
Key responsibilities include:
Your core focus will be preparing and reviewing formal documents but you will also lend a hand with general admin and light finance support. In addition, you will:
- Create and maintain Microsoft Word templates, styles and formatting
- Prepare high-quality tenders, proposals, reports and submissions
- Structure and edit complex documents to meet compliance standards
- Proofread and refine wording to ensure clarity, accuracy and tone
- Design and format PowerPoint presentations
- Support basic finance tasks: timesheets, invoicing, expenses tracking
- General administrative support as needed
We are looking for:
- Experience in a mid-level administration or document support role
- Advanced Microsoft Word skills (styles, templates, formatting best practices)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading/editing abilities
- Experience with tenders or formal proposals (highly regarded)
- Confidence with PowerPoint formatting and layout
- Some exposure to basic accounts or finance admin (e.g. timesheets, invoices)
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
