We are a small, supportive law firm with a focus on family law, estate planning and estate litigation. We are committed to providing professional and compassionate legal advice to our clients.
We are seeking a Level 2 Administration Assistant to join us. The role is ideal for someone who is calm, organised, and confident in communicating with clients, while providing essential support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
The ideal candidate will be someone who can communicate with clients in a calm and professional manner while supporting the day-to-day operations of the office.
We provide free onsite covered parking as part of your package.
Essential Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A calm, clear and professional manner when dealing with clients, including those under stress.
Able to format documents with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Use Microsoft Office (Work and Excel) competently for document preparation and general tasks.
Experience Required:
Minimum 1-2 years in administrative or reception roles
Previous experience in professional services or client-facing environment preferred
Experience managing confidential information preferred
Key Responsibilities include:
Manage calendar and appointments.
Greet and communicate with clients in person and over the phone.
Perform general office administration, including filing, and data entry.
Formatting documents with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Discussion of invoices and accounts payable with clients.
Manage physical files and safe custody documents.
General administrative support as required.
Part time role
Tuesday to Friday, 9.30 am to 3.00 pm (some flexibility is available, with potential for increased hours depending on skills and capacity to take on additional duties).

As the first point of contact for our clients, your professional presentation, friendly phone manner, and interpersonal skills will be essential and highly valued.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented.
Committed to maintaining discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a National Police Clearance.
