We are seeking a highly motivated Production Manager to lead and manage our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for the end-to-end planning, organisation, supervision, and optimisation of all production activities, ensuring compliance with relevant food safety regulations (HACCP, FSANZ) and company targets. You will have full management authority over production personnel, equipment, materials, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement weekly, monthly, and annual production plans to meet output targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Oversee the complete manufacturing process, including batching, cooking, depositing, cooling, demoulding, and packaging, ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Collaborate with the R&D team to scale new product formulations from pilot to full production.

Implement and maintain comprehensive QA/QC systems to ensure all products meet specifications and client expectations.

Lead, manage, and motivate the manufacturing team, including conducting performance reviews, facilitating training, and supporting professional development.

Manage production budgets and control costs; oversee raw material procurement and inventory levels.

Enforce Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies, lead safety audits, and manage risk mitigation strategies.

Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure effective preventive maintenance and timely equipment repairs, reducing downtime.
