A Great Opportunity

In this dynamic position you will be responsible for the continuous development and improvement of our Learn to Swim program and team, helping waterproof our coastal children! This position will collaborate with other Centre Leads to support our community’s aquatic journey from babies to masters. The fast-paced, ever-changing environment ensures that no two days are alike. As you work, you’ll acquire new skills, forge lasting relationships, and devise creative solutions on the fly.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Lead and inspire a passionate team of Swim Teachers

Deliver engaging, innovative Swim School programs

Build lasting connections with children, families, and the community

Champion safety, compliance, and excellence in aquatics

Foster ongoing learning and development for passionate team members

You will have the opportunity to work alongside an amazing team, contributing to a positive and warm organizational culture. Your leadership abilities, effective communication, and collaboration skills will be essential as you deliver innovative Swim School programs. About You

You will be passionate about fostering positive relationships with team members, swimmers, teachers, parents, and the wider community. By leading through example as a positive role model and creating memorable experiences.

What you bring:

Proven experience in developing and managing aquatic programs

A genuine and caring approach to leadership and team development

Demonstrated industry knowledge and understanding of national swimming and water safety frameworks Including: Royal Life Saving, Swim and Survive, Guidelines for safe pool operations and NSW Health

Relevant qualifications including Swimming and Water Safety Teacher and advanced/specialised swimming certificates

Current Working with Children Check

Desirable

Pool Lifeguard Qualification

Certificate III in Aquatics and Community Recreation (or equivalent)

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
