Role Overview
The Admin, HR and Office Assistant will provide essential support to the Commercial
Manager and Managing Director, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across
administration, HR, and office management. This role requires a proactive, organised
individual who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and support a growing
trade-based business.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and manage incoming phone calls
Coordinate and maintain scheduling and calendars
Proactively prospect for new staff members and support recruitment activities
Manage job listings (experience with Aroflow is an advantage)
Maintain and update the asset register
Oversee insurances for vehicles and certifications for staff
Chase and follow up overdue invoices
Handle ad hoc administration tasks as required by the Commercial Manager or
Managing Director
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in an administration role (experience in a trade-based business
highly regarded)
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and show initiative
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general digital tools
Experience with Aroflow or similar systems is an advantage
Qualifications
Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or a
related field (TAFE Diploma or Bachelor’s degree highly regarded)
