About You
You have extensive experience in preparing statutory financial reports for Australian government agencies and are knowledgeable of the PGPA Act. You hold relevant qualifications in finance, commerce or business, along with a CPA or CA designation. You possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information and provide guidance to senior stakeholders.

Your Typical Day
You review and supervise month end processes, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations. You prepare year end financial statements and assist with external audits. You coordinate external reporting requirements with government agencies and ensure compliance with regulations. You develop and implement policies and contribute to process improvement initiatives. You build relationships across ASIC and external bodies to support financial accountability.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate year end financial statements and coordinate audit processes
• Review and authorise month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage external reporting including Portfolio Budget Statements and treasury submissions
• Oversee asset register transactions and conduct stocktake processes
• Contribute to development of policies, procedures and governance frameworks
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members and stakeholders
