The Opportunity

This position is being offered as an 18-month non-ongoing contract. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with a high performing CFO and be involved in a range of significant, high-profile projects and events.

The finance team is small and collaborative, providing the chance to work closely not only with your immediate colleagues but also with stakeholders across the wider organisation.

The Role

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and finalise month-end and year-end financial statements
• Manage reporting for multiple entities, including consolidations, and support external audits
• Oversee treasury activities, including cash flow management and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with statutory, taxation, and external reporting requirements
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, providing guidance and support across the organisation

The Ideal Person

We are looking for a technically strong Financial Accountant with excellent attention to detail and well-developed communication skills.

You will be degree qualified and hold a CA or CPA qualification.

You may come from an audit background, be working as a Financial Accountant in the commercial sector, or already have experience in government.

What’s most important is your technical capability, accuracy, and ability to work effectively with others across the organisation.

Salary / Rate

• Up to $125k + Super
